Your donation – of new or gently used coats, gloves, hats, new long underwear, T-shirts and socks or money – helps to make the holidays brighter and the winter warmer for families in need.
Pledge right now to provide warm winter wear to children in the Triangle and eastern NC.
Give any amount and help WRAL make a positive difference for less fortunate children. To completely outfit a child this winter, the “magic number” to donate is $125.
There are three ways to donate:
1. Drop off used, clean coats and new toys by Dec. 31 at any participatingJiffy Lube locationsin Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, Clayton, Durham, Fayetteville, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Goldsboro, Knightdale, Pittsboro, Raleigh, Research Triangle Park, Spring Lake, Wake Forest, Wendell, Wilson and Zebulon.
2. Donate online through the Salvation Army's secure donation sitefrom now until Dec. 31.
3. Send a check made payable to The Salvation Army to:

Coats for the Children dates back to 1989
WRAL is once again collecting warm winter clothing, money and new toys for Salvation Army families in need. This annual community service campaign, presented by Jiffy Lube and The Whitley Law Firm, is one of WRAL’s signature events.
Since 1989, WRAL-TV has collected more than 176,650 coats and raised more than $2 million to provide winter clothing for Salvation Army families.
Thousands of families benefit from the annual, major community campaign, a partnership between WRAL and the Salvation Army.
