The roads may be a mess- but when you're suffering from cabin fever – retail therapy is a good remedy.
"I just needed to get out of the house," Erin Troas said when asked why she braved the elements to get out to the stores. "I know it's crazy, but we just moved back from Chicago, so this is nothing."

Several shoppers threw caution to the wind as they dodged sleet and snow heading into the Target in Holly Springs.
"I have hungry guys at home and ran out of stuff to feed them," shopper Deb Bess said. "So here I am."
Target workers also rolled in ready to work during the busiest shopping season of the year.
When asked what she thought the motives of shoppers were, employee Jamela Shaw responded, "They might just be from other places and like this weather, that's the only reason unless they actually need something."
"I don't know why they are out here," employee Josh Maass added. "They should just be at home being safe and not try to risk anything."
With only 15 shopping days left until Christmas, for some, there is no time to waste.
