WRAL News is ranking the highest snow totals in the state. This comes after a storm blanketed central and eastern North Carolina with snow Tuesday night.

Some of our coastal communities got up to 9 inches of snow. It was the first time the North Carolina coast saw snow in more than two years.

Wake County got more than an inch of snow, and Fayetteville saw more than 3 inches of snow.

                      1. Goldsboro: 2"

                            1. Southern Pines: 1.5"
