Multi-vehicle crash in northern Wake Co. shuts down road

Several vehicles were involved in a crash in northern Wake County on Wednesday morning.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP) and several fire trucks were on scene near the intersection of Creedmoor Road and Old Creedmoor Road around 6:20 a.m. The crash appeared to involve a sedan, SUV and Chevy Corvette among others.

A NCSHP rep said the 3-car collision started from one driver crossing the yellow line and colliding into another vehicle, which subsequently crashed into another vehicle.

Two people were taken to WakeMed. Part of Creedmoor Road was blocked off.
