A Sanford neighborhood had an unexpected visitor on Wednesday: Neighbors’ security cameras showed a fox near front doors of several homes.
A WRAL News viewer said she contacted Animal Control because she was concerned about the animal being injured. She said Animal Control wasn’t too concerned because the animal was no longer in her driveway.

Also, she said the fox was about 5 feet away from her before she closed the garage door.
