Life-sized dragon floats through Raleigh Christmas Parade

The NC Chinese Lantern Festival carried a life-sized dragon through downtown, as eye-catching and surprising as one might expect from the highly-visual festival that has become a holiday tradition in the Triangle over the past 8 years.

National Paw has donated 10 thousands of dollars

Thousands I should say band instruments to public school bands

throughout North Carolina probably amounts to tens of thousands of

dollars

Certainly National Pond is proud to give students a chance

to be in the band

They have a motto trust value satisfaction guaranteed

And now the Chinese Lantern Festival making its way down

Hillsboro Street with the Giant Dragon

This event taking place at Kris Coco Booth and the

theater runs now through January returning for the eighth year

and it is amazing to see each display comprised of

hundreds of parts thousands of led lights

This one not illuminated here in the daytime but you'll

see many mythical creatures all aglow there at the Wooded

Carry Coca Booth amphitheater

It really is gorgeous

They also have cultural arts performances and food vendors there

A fun tradition for a lot of families

I had a chance to get a sneak peek this

year and really enjoyed it
