Pedestrian hit and killed by vehicle on Raeford Road in Fayetteville

One person has died after being struck by a vehicle Monday in Fayetteville.

Officers responded to the scene on Raeford Road near Revere Street following reports of a pedestrian hit.

The victim was taken to the hospital but later died.

The investigation is ongoing.
