A layer of ice remained on roads across central North Carolina in Feb. 20, 2025, making for slick conditions and a series of crashes.

Dozens of crashes have been reported Thursday. Main roads remain covered in snow and ice, including I-40 and I-95. North Carolina is currently in a State of Emergency; everyone is advised to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.
