Brandi C and Blake Hill got engaged on Friday in the WRAL Azalea Gardens where friends and family joined them.

Brandi told WRAL News, the two are both in the military and have known each other for three years.
According to their wedding planner, Blake reached out to her months ago about proposing, but he was on deployment.
She says when he got back, he told her, "We have to do this today."
