SAN JOSE, Calif. (WCNC) — More than a dozen people were hospitalized during a Chainsmokers concert in California on Friday night, police said. 

The San Jose Fire Department said they got calls about "multiple patients requiring medical attention" around 8:22 p.m. Sept. 4. It's unclear what caused the medical episodes, or if and how the people hospitalized were connected.

San Jose police told media outlets multiple people were treated at the park for "suspected alcohol intoxication and drug-related issues," NBC Bay Area reported

The fire department said 14 ambulances were called to the scene and 14 people were taken to the hospital. It's unclear what prompted the calls to begin with, or what conditions the people were in when they got to the hospital.
