Burlington police arrested a woman on Wednesday after she was accused of kidnapping another woman in Cary.
Police said officers were called around 10:03 p.m. to be on the lookout for a vehicle driving on I-40 westbound in the Burlington area.

Police spotted the car 15 minutes later on I-40 westbound near exit 138, and attempted a traffic stop.
Officers said the driver, identified as 36-year-old Jazmin Hayes, didn't stop and led police on a chase. Police said troopers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol took over the chase about 10 minutes later.
The pursuit continued into Guilford County, where Hayes lost control of the vehicle and crashed near I-840 and Huffine Mill Road. Hayes attempted to run away, but she was quickly found and arrested by the Burlington Police K9 unit.
The woman who was kidnapped was found unharmed inside the car.
A police investigation revealed that Hayes and the victim knew each other.
According to police, the two women got into an argument that escalated when a weapon was pointed at the woman who was kidnapped and law enforcement. No shots were fired during the incident.
Hayes now faces several charges, including:
• One count of Felony Flee to Elude
• One count of Resist, Delay, and Obstruct
• One count of False Imprisonment
Hayes is being held in the Guilford County Detention Center without bond.
