Moore County deputies arrested an Aberdeen man on Wednesday on allegations of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Joseph Beckley, 62, is charged with four counts of felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and four counts of felony third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

The State Bureau of Investigation helped the Moore County Sheriff’s Office with Beckley’s arrest.

The sheriff’s office said it initiated an investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Authorities are holding Beckley at the Moore County Detention Center on $125,000 secured bond.

Beckley is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 13.
