A caregiver at a Rocky Mount group home has been arrested in Nash County and faces multiple charges after deputies seized large amounts of illegal drugs.
On Tuesday, deputies were called to a home around 10 p.m. on Nashville Road after receiving multiple complaints that drugs were being distributed from the home.

Deputies said after probable cause, they obtained a search warrant for the home where 40-year-old Danny Lee Lawrence Jr. was arrested.
Deputies said Lawrence was seen attempting to flush the drugs down the toilet and was immediately taken into custody.
While clearing the home, deputies said they also discovered three patients suffering cognitive disabilities inside.
Each was examined by medical personnel and determined to be in good health. Nash County Adult Protective Services were called for the patients.
According to arrest warrants Lawrence had 471.8 grams of cocaine, 184 grams of marijuana and eight pints of codeine.
He now faces multiple charges including trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell or distribute schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance, destruction of criminal evidence, three counts of patient abuse and neglect, resisting a public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lawrence is being held in the Nash County Detention Center without bond and is expected in court on Saturday.
