Neighbors are coming together to help a Cary family that lost their home over the weekend.
Around 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Cary Fire Department was called to a home on Strathorn Drive.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but damage to the home was substantial, according the Cary Fire Department.
No one was inside the home during the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. A neighbor told WRAL that they believe lightning struck the home during Saturday's storm. WRAL is working to confirm that with the fire department.
On Sunday, several neighborhood children are hosting a lemonade and snack stand to help support the family.
A GoFundMe has been created by a neighbor, Laura Croyle. It's already raised more than $5,000.
