Cumberland County District Attorney Billy West confirmed his office received the investigative file for a woman charged with the murder of her two adopted children.
Avantae Deven is accused of murdering Blake Deven and London Deven. Authorities arrested Avantae Deven in June 2024.

The investigative file is essentially the collection of various pieces of evidence police gathered. West said the plan is to present the case to a grand jury early in 2026. However, Avantae Deven likely won’t go to trial until 2027.
