Henderson police and state agents are investigating after a deadly shooting over the weekend.
The Henderson Police Department said officers responded to a shooting around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Lamb Street area of North Henderson.

Police said they found a 76-year-old man, Willie Satterfield, with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. EMS took the man to a hospital where he later died to his wounds.
Police said they are working with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation to gather evidence and identify who was responsible for the shooting.
