Deputies say the post was made by a 14-year-old girl who attends a local public school. She was arrested. The Nash County Sheriff's Office is seeking a secured custody order, which will allow her to be kept in a juvenile detention facility.

“I would like to thank the members of the North Carolina SBI, the SBI’s ISAAC’s Unit and the Data Analysts that worked with our CID members during this event. I would also like to recognize the continued work of our School Resource Officers, who make it their mission to protect every student and staff member at these schools daily," said Sheriff Stone.

This is the second online threat made to the school in a two week period. The school went on lockdown on Friday, and the threat was determined to not be credible.
