A group home in Durham was struck by lightning during Friday night storms, residents told WRAL News.
Dozens of firefighters responded quickly to the home on Gardenview Place in Durham just before 11 p.m.

No one was injured, but 10 people were forced to find another place to sleep Friday. They were wakened by the lightning strike and were able to get out safely. The Red Cross was helping them with lodging.
Firefighters said it took about 15 minutes to put the fire out.
