A man is dead from an early morning shooting near a downtown Durham bar.
Officers responded to the area of Rigsbee Avenue and West Corporation Street for a call about a gunshot wound.

When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Witnesses told WRAL that a fight happened outside of a nearby bar before the shooting happened.
No arrests have been made.
