Durham police have identified the woman shot and killed in a shooting last week.
Police say Dashawna Williams, 23, was killed. A man was also hurt and taken to the hospital.

The shooting happened on Friday morning at apartments near the Golden Belt Campus on East Main Street.
Police said they arrived around 12:40 a.m. to find Williams and the man who had been shot. Both were taken to a hospital with life-threatening wounds. Williams was pronounced dead at the hospital.
There is no word on the extent of the man's injuries at this time.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived as the Durham Police Department mobile command unit took position with more than a dozen officers assisting in the investigation. There was crime tape surrounding one of the apartment buildings and a parking lot.
