A Fayetteville man is facing multiple charges after he was arrested in connection with a drug investigation.
Jeffrey Nadir Shields, 46, was arrested on Friday, Oct. 31, by Fayetteville police along the 800 block of Ridge Road.

Police said a federal arrest warrant was issued for Shields after he was federally indicted for manslaughter.
With the help of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID), police found 339.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 5.3 grams of suspected cocaine during their search.
Shields now faces additional charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine by possession, trafficking in methamphetamine by manufacture, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of keeping and selling a controlled substance.
Previously, Shields has been convicted of habitual felon, more than 10 felony drug convictions to include trafficking schedule II, common law robbery, possession of stolen goods and possession of a stolen firearm by a felon.
Shields is being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond. Police say he is also being held under a temporary federal order of detention.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
