A Fayetteville man has pleaded guilty in connection to a 2007 sexual assault near Fayetteville State University.
On Tuesday, Nicholas Antonio Raye admitted guilt to two counts of second-degree rape, a second-degree sexual offense, first-degree kidnapping, and breaking and entering, all tied to the 2007 assault at an off-campus apartment complex linked to the university.

Raye was sentenced to 93 to 172 months in prison, with the new sentence set to begin after completing his current prison term.
He is presently serving a sentence of 58 to 130 months, which began in Aug. 2023, for second-degree forcible rape and two counts of second-degree forcible sex offenses in Northwest.
