Three people are dead Saturday after a house fire in Perquimans County.
According to Perquimans County Emergency Services, 911 operators received a call about a fire early Saturday morning on the 1900 block of Harvey Point Road in Hertford.

Firefighters said the fire killed three people. Two people survived.
Several agencies responded to the fire, including the Perquimans County Sheriff's Office, Bethel Fire Department, Hertford Fire Department, Winfall Fire Department, Perquimans County EMS and Perquimans Emergency Management.
Both the North Carolina State Fire Marshal's Office and State Bureau of Investigation determined the fire was accidental.
