A Franklin County man was arrested on Tuesday after he did not show up to a court hearing for the murder of his infant son.

Patrick Rayvon Jordan, 25, was initially arrested by Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies in April after he was accused of killing his 7-week-old son, Chozen.

Court documents said the infant suffered serious injuries, including broken ribs and broken clavicles. The baby also suffered from blunt force head trauma, causing serious brain injuries.

Initially, Jordan was charged with second-degree murder and felony intentional child abuse and was given a $500,000 bond. Those charges were upgraded to first-degree murder and felony intentional child abuse.

Jordan was set to appear in court on Tuesday, Nov. 4, but according to court documents, he did not appear.

Jordan is being held without bond. He is set to appear back in court on Monday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m.
