A Granville County man was arrested on 13 charges Thursday after he was found hiding in an attic, according to the Granville County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies executed a search warrant at 46-year-old Ryan Scott's home in Stem after multiple attempts to make contact with him. Scott was found hiding in his attic and was arrested, officials say.

He is accused of breaking into the home of a man, kidnapping him and committing an armed robbery in which he stole money, according to search warrants.
Scott was transported to Durham Police custody and booked into the Durham County Jail. He was wanted on 13 charges, including:
- Breaking and entering to terrorize/injure
- Attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon
- Possession of a firearm by a felon
- Intimidating a witness
- Kidnapping
- Robbery with a dangerous weapon
- Obtaining property by false pretenses
- Conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon
- Conspiracy to obtain property by false pretenses
- Felony conspiracy
- Assault by pointing a gun
- Simple assault
Scott is being held without bond. His first court appearance is Monday.
