Kayaker finds body at Greenville park, death investigation underway

Police are investigating after a kayaker found a body at the Greenville Town Common, Greenville's central park, WITN reports.

Police say that the discovery was made on Sunday shortly after 10:30 a.m. at 105 East First St.

Police say it appears to be a man’s body, but they have not identified it yet.

Investigators do not know the circumstances of the death yet and say it’s too early to determine if foul play was involved.
