Two separate stabbings occurred early Saturday morning in Wake County that left at least three people injured. All those involved in the stabbings were unidentified by authorities in the press releases.
Just after midnight, Knightdale police said officers were notified of a man who walked into WakeMed to receive treatment for a stab wound. The man told officers that he was walking near Walmart when another man approached him and asked him for a light.

The victim said the conversation turned physical, and the man allegedly robbed him of some possessions. The victim said he believes his wounds were from the altercation, but they were not life-threatening.
Knightdale police said this stabbing at Walmart is under investigation, and could not provide any more details.
Then just before 5 a.m., Raleigh police responded to a stabbing at an apartment complex on Colbert Creek Loop.
The Raleigh Watch Commander said two men were involved in an altercation. One was arrested and will be charged, but police did not say with what. The other man was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police did not say how severe his injuries were.
