A man was arrested after a barricade with the Robeson County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday morning.
Around 6 a.m. sheriff deputies and crime scene investigators were called to a house on Highway 72 in Lumberton for a homicide investigation.

When they arrived, the male suspect, barricaded himself inside his house.
Almost an hour later, police had the suspect in custody at 6:50 a.m.
The Robeson County Sheriff's Office is conducting the death investigation.
