Court documents released Thursday morning revealed a man accused of stabbing a man to death in Durham on Wednesday is facing a charge for murder.
According to an arrest warrant, Mauricio Yael Reyes Rubio is charged with murdering a man and attacking a woman with a knife. He is accused of first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflict serious injury.

Durham police responded to a stabbing call at a home in the 600 block of Old Oxford Road just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from stab wounds. He died at the scene.
Police arrested Rubio and said he knew the victim. WRAL News is working to learn their relationship and what led to the stabbing.
Rubio had his bond denied and is scheduled for a court hearing at 11 a.m. Thursday.
At 4:00 a.m. Thursday, the WRAL Breaking News Tracker saw several investigators still on the scene and Old Oxford Road blocked off 11 hours later.
Sky 5 flew over the home on Wednesday evening and saw the property taped off as several Durham police units responded, including a mobile command truck.
