A girl missing from Connecticut was found with a North Carolina man in Ocean Isle Beach, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. The man is facing charges.
The Middletown Police Department reported the girl was missing on April 9.

Deputies in Brunswick County said the girl was found at an Ocean Isle Beach home on April 27 with Justin Newman, 51, who faces charges of first-degree kidnapping and child rape.
WECT reports Newman met the 15-year-old girl three months earlier on an app called Skout that enables users to meet people worldwide through livestreams and chats.
Newman is being held in the Brunswick County Detention Center.
An investigation is ongoing, officials said. Additional charges may be filed.
