Woman found after disappearing in Wake Forest, police say

Police officers on Saturday asked for help finding a Wake Forest woman with a cognitive impairment who went missing.

Police officers said they found a woman with a cognitive impairment Saturday hours after she was reported missing by her family.

According to the Wake Forest Police Department, 50-year-old Tanisha Alford was found safe hours after she disappeared from Oakwood Drive around noon.
