Emergency crews responded after a mixer truck overturned along a neighborhood road in Holly Springs.
The crash was reported around 7:15 a.m. Thursday on Carolina Springs Boulevard near Carova Avenue, which is just south of U.S. 1 near Woods Creek Elementary School. The road was closed in both directions.

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker flew a drone over the crash, and it appeared cement and some sort of other substance was spilling from the truck onto the ground and sidewalk.
The Holly Springs Police Department said the driver was taken to the hospital with injuries that weren't life-threatening.
As of 9 a.m., crews were still working to clear the crash and clean up the scene. Police said people should avoid the area until it is clear.
