A motorcyclist died after a collision with a bus in Fayetteville Saturday afternoon.
Fayetteville police responded to a crash on Cedar Creek Road near Troy Drive involving a motorcycle and a Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) bus.

The city bus stopped to unload passengers and the motorcycle ran into the back of the bus while attempting to switch lanes and pass it, according to the police department's preliminary investigation.
John Wood, 60, of Fayetteville, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
Police are still investigating this crash.
