Police: Man was shot before crashing car in Goldsboro; 2 teens charged

One person is dead after a crash in Goldsboro on Tuesday morning.

Goldsboro Police said they responded to a motor vehicle crash just before 5:30 a.m. in the 600 block of W. Holly Street. When they arrived on the scene, they found one person in the vehicle dead.

After an investigation, Police said the victim, 29-year-old Anthony Hutchinson, was shot before crashing his car. Police said they arrested two suspects, a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old. Each of the suspects faces a murder charge. The two were taken to the Pitt Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

The Goldsboro Police Department's Investigative Services Bureau was called and responded to the scene Tuesday morning.
