Pedestrian killed on Buffaloe Road in Raleigh during hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning

A person was killed this morning in a hit-and-run on Buffaloe Road in Raleigh near Oates Drive just before 3:15 a.m.

Detrick Arnold, 32, was a pedestrian in the roadway when a large SUV hit him and left the scene. 

At least one other vehicle ran over Arnold in the roadway after. Raleigh police said it is unknown if Arnold was crossing the street or if he was walking or standing in the road. 

Police are looking for the driver of the SUV. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Raleigh Police Department.
