Raleigh police responded to a reported home invasion at an apartment complex off Matt Drive Thursday morning.
Police said about four or five suspects kicked in one unit's door while the resident was still at home.

According to radio traffic, it sounds like this group of people were wearing masks and said they were police officers right before busting into the home.
The resident was not injured and the suspects did not take anything, according to police.

WRAL News asked Raleigh police if this incident was related to a recent TikTok trend where teens will kick in doors and then leave, similar to ding dong ditching. Police said the evidence does not show any relation so far.
