The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said a school bus driver was at fault for a crash on Tuesday in Sampson County.

The State Highway Patrol said a school bus was on Pumpkin Town Road and crossed over Autryville Road to get to Saddle Club Road when it was hit by a car on the side.

Troopers said the driver of that car was taken to the hospital. The person’s current condition is unclear.

No children were injured during the crash.

Troopers have not released the names of anyone involved in the crash nor any information about possible charges.
