A man was taken into custody Tuesday in Myrtle Beach in relation to a missing person case from 2023, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation said.
Authorities found Bryan David Griffin Jr., 37, on Tuesday at a hotel on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, according to the SBI.

The SBI said Griffin was wanted in the case of missing Warren County woman Dana Leigh Mustian, who was last seen on Nov. 30, 2023, on Dorothy Drive in Warrenton, North Carolina.
Griffin is charged with concealment of a death. Authorities are taking him to the Myrtle Beach Detention Facility.
On Jan. 30, 2025, law enforcement agencies conducted searches in Vance County. While searching a pond near Henderson, authorities found possible human remains. After examination, the North Carolina Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the remains belonged to Mustian, the SBI said.
The SBI said Mustian’s family has been informed.
The investigation is ongoing.
