Two teenagers, ages 13 and 17, were found dead Monday night at a home in Henderson.
Around 9:45 p.m., deputies with the Vance County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Torri Drive, off Hicksboro Road.

Deputies found two teenagers. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Limited details were available, but an investigation is active.
Neighbor Jennifer Brust said she did not hear anything out of the ordinary on Monday night.
“[It's] terrible," Brust said. “We're shaken.”
Brust said the last time she saw the two teens was on Saturday.
“They were more to themselves,” Brust said of her neighbors. “They stayed away from everybody.
“We did see the kids outside playing in the snow this past weekend, stuff like that. They would walk around outside and play on their bikes and stuff like that.”

Last month, the city of Henderson issued a temporary curfew after multiple shootings in a span of days, some involving children.
On Jan. 20 alone, there were at least four shooting incidents in Henderson, including an incident on Wester Avenue involving three people shot, including a 7-month-old baby.
Later that evening, another woman was shot in the leg inside a home in the 600 block of Roberson Street. Additionally, a 16-year-old girl was struck in the hand by gunfire in the 900 block of Water Street.
