A Raleigh tow truck driver charged with DWI after a crash that killed a motorcyclist and injured three others appeared in court Monday.
Allan Guerrero, 39, had his bond updated to $2 million. Police said Guerrero, who owns 6G Towing and Recovery, made an illegal U-turn at a red light Friday before crashing into two motorcycles and a car on Capital Boulevard.

One of the motorcyclists, Chandler Hodge, died in the crash. The other motorcyclist and two people in the car were hospitalized. Hodge turned 35 years old on the day of the crash.
Guerrero is charged with aggravated felony death by vehicle, three counts of felony serious injury by vehicle, DWI, driving while license revoked, resisting a public officer and being intoxicated and disruptive.
He was also issued traffic tickets for failure to stop at a red light, unsafe movement that resulted in a crash and inflicting serious injury and unsafe movement.
Records show Guerrero has three prior DWI convictions, including one from last year. Friday’s charge is his fourth DWI case, and his license was already suspended because of his previous convictions.
Friday's event came seven months before Guerrero's license was suspended. He was charged with DWI in 2011, 2016 and 2024.
WRAL News has reached out to the Secretary of State's Office, Wake County officials, Town of Wake Forest leaders and the DMV to gain an understanding of how Guerrero was able to operate a driving-based business given his record. Each entity said they were not the responsible party.
Guerrero is being held in the Wake County Jail. His next court appearance will be on Aug. 10.
