A large number of fire crews returned to a townhouse community in Zebulon early Tuesday morning after a fire rekindled at a townhome.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived Tuesday around 6 a.m. as several fire trucks responded to the 700 block of Putney Hill Road, which was the site of a large fire on Monday.

Zebulon fire crews said Monday's fire rekindled overnight, prompting them to return.
By 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, crews had stopped working the fire and were packing up gear.
On Monday, the Zebulon Fire Department responded to a large fire at the 700 block of Putney Hill Road in the Barrington neighborhood. Several crews from the Hopkins Rural Fire Department, Middlesex, Wendell and Ferrells arrived to help.
Two people were displaced from the fire.
The townhouse suffered significant damage. Sky 5 flew over the home on Tuesday morning and portions of the townhouse appeared to be charred and gutted.
Crews said it's unclear what caused the first fire and that it was under investigation.
