A woman wanted in the deaths of two Virginia Department of Transportation employees in July has been spotted several times in North Carolina, and her car was found abandoned in the state, according to court documents linked to the search.
Dennikia Boyce, of Emporia, Va., is wanted in the killings of Rai'Shon Delarge and Phillip Wilson at the VDOT equipment yard near Route 1 and I-288. Although authorities have been searching for her over seven weeks and posted a $10,000 reward, she remained on the loose Wednesday.

“The possibility of remaining free when law enforcement is looking for you, especially on charges as serious as second-degree murder, it's impossible,” Steve Benjamin, a legal analyst, told WWBT in central Virginia.
Court documents show Boyce was spotted on a surveillance camera at a Walmart in Ahoskie, North Carolina, within hours of the killings on July 24. Two days later, on July 26, she was caught on camera again, this time at a Sunoco in Conway, North Carolina.
On July 28, local authorities in Northampton County, North Carolina, located her abandoned blue Honda Accord hidden behind a church in Pendleton.
Boyce wanted on two charges of homicide related to the VDOT employees' deaths and is also facing a federal charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
She is described as a Black woman, about 5'6" tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
