A former U.S. Senator was heckled during an economic summit in Utah just days after she was sued by a Moore County woman for allegedly having an affair with her husband.
Former Senator Kyrsten Sinema was interrupted by protestors on Friday as she took the stage with Utah Governor Spencer Cox during the summit.

“I’m happy to call her my lover … My wife is leaving me because of you. She’s taking the kids,” a heckler shouted mockingly during the summit.
Two men, interrupting less than five minutes apart, shouted accusations referencing the alienation of affection lawsuit.
Cox called the outbursts a “sign of today’s divided climate.” Sinema briefly acknowledged the disruption and continued with her remarks.
North Carolina is one of the few states that allows jilted spouses to sue someone for interfering in their marriage. The cases are rare and hinge on the spouse’s ability to prove that a third party is responsible for the demise of the marriage.
