Duplin County authorities are searching for a man after one person died and two others were wounded in a shooting in Magnolia on Sunday.

Magnolia police said three people were shot on East Sandy Street and Quarterman Lane. One of the victims died and the other two were airlifted to a hospital.

Police are now looking for a man, 53-year-old Gerardo Olvera. They said he is believed to be armed and dangerous and people should not attempt to approach him.

Police are investigating along with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and Duplin County Sheriff's Office.
