WMBF reports one person was killed and 11 people were injured Saturday night in an officer-involved shooting in Myrtle Beach.
Around 11:50 p.m., Myrtle Beach police officers responded to the 900 block of North Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.

Police said 11 people were injured, and the person shot during the officer response died from his injuries.
Police said officers saw someone fire a gun, at which time the department said an officer also fired their weapon.
The officer involved was not injured, according to police.
