NC Aquarium announces “Shrimp and Grins” spring campaign

The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher (NCAFF) has announced “Shrimp and Grins," a new campaign for spring 2025.

According to a press release from NCAFF, the campaign highlights the aqauriums two resident sand tiger sharks and draws attention to the endangered species.

“The sand tiger sharks in the Cape Fear Shoals habitat are truly crowd favorites, and through these inspirational connections we are making a difference in our work to save this species,” says NCAFF Director Joanna Zazzali.

The campaign is set to run on buses and billboards in the state, said WECT staff.

NCAFF is encouraging the community to follow their social media pages to learn more about the sand tiger shark conservation work.
