The Soccer Tournament returning to Cary for 4th year

The Soccer Tournament is returning to Cary's WakeMed Soccer Park in 2026.

The $1 million prize winner-take-all competition will run from May 27 to June 1.

At this point, there are 48 men's teams and 16 women's teams scheduled to participate. The men's bracket features 12 groups of four teams each battling it out in group stage and 32-team knockout. The women's bracket carries four groups of four teams each and an 8-team knockout.

A ticket presale begins Feb. 24. Benefits of buying in the pre-sale include 15% off all ticket purchases and a free TST gear pack.

Last year, NBA star Chris Paul and ESPN personality Pat McAfee were there for the action. Bumpy Pitch FC won the men's bracket while the US Women won the women's side.

The event features meet & greets, live entertainment, play on the pitch, all kinds of cuisines across the world, giveaways and a kids zone. The tournament has been played each year in Cary since 2023.
