No. 12 North Carolina will play No. 20 Notre Dame at the Greensboro Coliseum Sunday Feb. 5 because of Orange Country's state of emergency after a major water main break. The top 25 men's basketball meeting was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Dean E. Smith Center Saturday night. Coliseum doors open at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
The game will be televised by ESPN News on Sunday, the athletic department said that Internet-only broadcast information will be announced when the plan is confirmed.

Tickets for Saturday's game will be honored Sunday at the rescheduled event. Fans with lower-level seats in Chapel Hill will have comparable lower bowl seating in Greensboro and those with upper-level tickets for the Smith Center will sit in upper level seats at the coliseum. Student tickets will also be honored in Greensboro.
Parking is 10 dollars at the Greensboro Coliseum and no parking passes from Chapel Hill will be honored.
The Notre Dame men's basketball team postponed its travel to North Carolina from Friday until late Saturday morning and North Carolina's team will stay in a hotel in Durham overnight Friday.
The North Carolina athletic department moved or canceled all other on-campus events due to the abrupt water shortage. The Tar Heels had several events scheduled on-campus this weekend including swimming and diving Friday through Sunday, gymnastics Friday and women's and men's lacrosse, wrestling and men's basketball Saturday.
UNC canceled the gymnastics meet scheduled for Friday, which was the first home quad meet of the season for the Tar Heels. NC State confirmed to WRAL that UNC athletics reached out to the Wolfpack about hosting the meet versus Towson, William & Mary and Wisconsin-Whitewater but that NC State's home wrestling meet rendered the option unavailable.
The reigning 2016 NCAA Champion men's and women's lacrosse teams will open the 2017 seasons at Cardinal Gibbons Saturday. The women host James Madison at noon then the men host UMBC at 3:00 p.m.
Carolina wrestling's dual meet, the Tar Heels' final home dual of the year, against Virginia is now scheduled for 7 p.m. at Northwood High School in Pittsboro.
The swimming and diving teams will finish the Nike Cup at Duke's Taishoff Aquatics Pavillion all weekend.
