37-foot sailing vessel grounds along Cape Hatteras National Seashore

A 37-foot sailing vessel was grounded along Cape Hatteras National Seashore on Saturday morning.

The 'Alhambra' was stuck on the beach near the Avon Fishing Pier in Avon. There were no injuries.

The back of the ship carries its name and reads "Port of Bayfield, WI."

The National Park Service and U.S. Coast Guard are working with the vessel's owner to remove any hazardous substances and have the boat removed from the beach.
