The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Wilmington man on Wednesday after finding 647 grams of marijuana and narcotics in his vehicle.
According to deputies, 25-year-old Ghani Shakur Glover was stopped for reckless driving near the boat ramp at 963 Hwy 11-55.

Upon searching the vehicle, authorities found marijuana and chocolate mushrooms, which are a form of Schedule I controlled substances.
Glover faces the following charges:
- Possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana
- Felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances
- Felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance
- Reckless driving
- Failure to wear a seatbelt
He was issued a $5,000 secured bond.
